Gill while talking on Star Sports said, ‘I think the biggest influence came from my father, the way we lived in the first village where we practiced. After that, when we came to the city, there was such a big change. After that, we practiced there, and whatever I learned there made a difference in my life. Both my parents have always been by my side, so everything has influenced me a lot.

Shubman Gill revealed a suggestion from Indian head coach Rahul Dravid, which he follows. Gill further said, ‘Rahul sir has told me that you always have to trust your game, no matter what the circumstances, always trust the preparation you have done, always trust your gut, whether it is India A or Then of India.

While talking about the changes in his game, Shubman Gill said, ‘Whatever changes have come in my game have all come from experience, no technical changes or anything like that. I feel in my batting, as you play the ball, as you move up, that feeling comes in your batting. That mental change comes, this is the change that has come.
