Ten teams will participate in the Women’s T20 World Cup and there will be fierce competition between them. These teams have been divided into two groups.
Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to start on October 3. After the Bangladesh Cricket Board refused to host the tournament, the World Cup will now be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with all matches to be played in Dubai and Sharjah. After finalizing the venue, the ICC has now announced the revised schedule.
Groups and all teams of Women’s T20 World 2024
Ten teams will participate in the Women’s T20 World Cup and there will be fierce competition between them. These teams have been divided into two groups.
In Group A- Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been included.
Whereas in Group B- These include South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Scotland.
When will the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 warm-ups be played?
10 warm-up matches will be played from 28 September to 1 October before the tournament.
Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Format
In this tournament, each team will play four group matches. The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals on 17 and 18 October. After this, the final match will be held in Dubai on 20 October.
A reserve day has also been kept for the semi-finals and the final. If India reaches the semi-finals, the semi-final will play Round-1. A total of 23 matches will be played in Dubai and Sharjah.
Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: When will the India vs Pakistan match take place?
Both India and Pakistan teams have been placed in one group. Pakistan will face the Indian women’s team on October 6. This match will be played in Dubai from 2 pm.
