Currently the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 tournament is being played in UAE. After the final of this important tournament, the New Zealand women’s team will immediately tour India. In this tour, New Zealand women’s team will play a three-match ODI series against India. This ODI series will be played in Ahmedabad.
Let us tell you that the first match between these two teams will be played on 24th October while the second ODI will be played on 27th October. The third and final ODI will be played on 29 October. This series is a part of the ICC Women’s ODI Championship 2022-25. The New Zealand women’s team was scheduled to tour India last year but the hosts had a tough schedule in 2023 in which they also had to play one-off Tests against England and Australia.
In its first match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 currently being played, New Zealand gave a crushing defeat to Team India. In the match played between these two teams, the New Zealand women’s team, batting first at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, scored 160 runs losing four wickets in 20 overs, in response to which Team India was all out for 102 runs.
Team India’s batsmen failed to leave a mark in their first match of this fantastic tournament against New Zealand. However, all these players will be seen performing strongly in the upcoming three-match ODI series.
