In IPL 2024, the 25th match of the league is being played today on Thursday (April 11) between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In this match, Mumbai won the toss and invited RCB to bat first. RCB scored 196 runs against Mumbai by losing eight wickets in 20 overs and set a target of 197 runs to Mumbai Indians.

RCB first innings-

Royal Challengers Bangalore has given Mumbai Indians a target of 197 runs to win. Dinesh Karthik batted brilliantly in this match. He scored unbeaten 53 runs on 23 balls. Karthik hit 5 fours and 4 sixes in this innings. Whereas, Rajat Patidar scored 50 runs on 26 balls and Faf du Plessis scored 61 runs on 40 balls. He hit 4 fours and 3 sixes in this innings.

But, Virat Kohli’s bat did not work today and he was out after scoring 3 runs. Glenn Maxwell and Mahipal Lomrar were out for zero. Jasprit Bumrah bowled well for Mumbai, he took 5 wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs. Akash Madhwal, Shreyas Gopal and Gerald Coetzee took one wicket each.

Jasprit Bumrah has come to the forefront in the race for the Purple Cap of IPL 2024. With the help of 5 wickets taken today against RCB, he has taken 10 wickets in 5 matches played this season.
