The second match of the ongoing two-match Test series between New Zealand and Australia (NZ vs AUS) is being played today from March 8 at the Hagley Oval ground in Christchurch. Let us tell you that in this match, Australia has won the toss and decided to bowl first.

So while batting first in the match, New Zealand’s first innings was reduced to just 162 runs in 45.2 overs in front of Australia’s excellent bowling. Also, this is the third time when New Zealand has been all out within 200 runs in three innings of the ongoing Test series. It is noteworthy that in the first test match held in Wellington, the Kiwi team was restricted to 179 and 196 runs respectively.

However, in this Test match, fast bowler Matt Henry made a partnership of 55 runs with captain Tim Southee, and took the team’s score forward. So Henry played an innings of 29 runs in 28 balls. With this, he has become the highest run scorer for New Zealand in this series. So now he has given a big statement on New Zealand’s batting collapse in this match.

Let us tell you that on New Zealand’s batting collapse in the first innings of the second Test match against Australia, Matt Henry quoted ESPN Cricinfo as saying – There is nothing to worry about. I think we have some fantastic world class players in our batting line-up. They have been fantastic the last few years.

Henry further said- I have no doubt that he will prove to be great in future and will perform well. This was the first day of the test match, a lot of spin was seen with the ball. And they (Australia) have bowled well also. This is what happens when you face world class players. Some days will be their days too.
