Today i.e. on 17th April, the holy festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated across the country. Lord Rama was born on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month in Tretayuga. Lord Rama had incarnated for the welfare of the world and to destroy unrighteous people like Ravana. This festival of Ram Navami also shows the victory of good over evil.

Ram Navami has special significance in Hindu religion. According to the scriptures, whoever worships Lord Shri Ram with full devotion and rituals on this day, Lord Ram fills his life with happiness and prosperity. According to beliefs, on the day of Ram Navami, all the forms of Goddess Durga and those who worship Lord Ram get their desired results. Maa Durga and Lord Ram take away all the problems of their devotees.
