The ball first fell on the roof and then bounced out of the ground. Abhishek had scored 23 runs by hitting one four and 3 sixes in this over bowled by Simlen. He played a brilliant inning of 36 runs in 18 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes. He had earlier played a half-century in the third T20. India recorded the second highest total- In the fourth T20 match, the Indian team won the toss and batted first and scored 283 runs on the board at the loss of one wicket. This is India’s second highest total in T20 International. Sanju Samson played an unbeaten inning of 109 runs in 56 balls with the help of 6 fours and 9 sixes. At the same time, Tilak Verma played an unbeaten inning of 120 runs in 47 balls with the help of 9 fours and 10 sixes. There was a record partnership of 210* runs for the second wicket between the two batsmen. Only Lutho Sipamla was the successful bowler for South Africa, he took one wicket for 58 runs in 4 overs.
