Wasim Jaffer and Ravichandran Ashwin jokingly trolled Michael Waugh who was making big statements about the Indian team during the tournament schedule. Michael Waugh tweeted after the semi-finals, ‘India should have definitely made it to the final. They are the best team in this tournament so far. England will always have trouble on such a pitch and India has many slow spinners who can leave their mark in the match.’

Talking about the second semi-final, India batted first against England and scored 171 runs in 20 overs losing seven wickets. On behalf of the team, captain Rohit Sharma played an important innings of 57 runs while batting brilliantly. Apart from Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav made an important contribution of 47 runs. Both these batsmen made an important partnership of 73 runs for the third wicket. Not only this, Rohit and Suryakumar did not spare any bowler of England and attacked everyone fiercely.
In reply, England was all out for 103 runs. India’s bowlers also left their mark in this match. Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets for 19 runs in four overs while Akshar Patel also took three wickets. Now the final of this important tournament will be played between India and South Africa on June 29 in Barbados.
