The first test played between West Indies and South Africa ended in a draw. Now the second and final test between these two teams is starting today i.e. 15th August in Guyana. Both the teams would definitely like to win this second test. However, before the second test, Temba Bavuma has given an important message to his team. Temba Bavuma wants his top order batsmen to play more aggressive cricket in the second test.

South African players performed very well in the first test but due to rain the match ended in a draw. South African team will definitely want to win the second test to be held in Guyana.

According to the Times of India, before the second Test, Temba Bavuma said, ‘The batsmen will have to bat even more aggressively. The batsmen will have to use whatever opportunity they get well. This will also help the bowlers a lot and we can put pressure on the West Indies. If we had got a little more time in the first Test, its result would have been in front of everyone.’

Temba Bavuma praised his team’s bowlers

Temba Bavuma further said, ‘I think the bowlers played their role very well. Keshav Maharaj bowled half the overs of the innings and he performed very well. The confidence in the team is increasing a lot. This team is at a very high level and they also have less experience. We want that all the players together perform brilliantly and play an important role in their team’s victory.’

In the first Test match, South Africa scored 357 runs after losing all wickets in their first innings, after which the host was all out for 233 runs in their first innings. After this, South Africa declared their second innings at 173 runs for three wickets. By the end of the fifth day’s play, the West Indies team was able to score only 201 runs after losing 5 wickets in their second innings.
