Mushfiqur Rahim made a big announcement
Mushfiqur Rahim dedicated his Player of the Match award to the flood victims of Bangladesh and announced to donate the prize money. According to reports, about 18 people have died. Speaking at the post-match presentation, he said,
I want to make an announcement, I want to donate my prize money, because there is a flood in Bangladesh.
This is one of my best innings till date- Rahim
Mushfiqur also rated his innings as one of his best in international cricket. He said that Bangladesh has not performed well in Test cricket away from home and that is why this win is very important for everyone.
This is one of my best innings till date, because we have not performed that well abroad. All the players prepared well in Pakistan and at home as well. There was a gap of two and a half months before the Test series, all the players and management were there, other players were playing in the World Cup. I am grateful to the coaching staff and management. Whenever I meet all these people, it is a luxury for him (Shanto) and I try to give my best. Performing well for your country is an inspiration.
