PAK vs BAN, 2nd Test: Day-2 Report: The second match of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30. The first day of the game was cancelled due to rain without a toss. Today, on the second day, Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto won the toss and decided to bowl first.
The host Pakistan team was all out for 274 runs in the first innings. By the end of the second day, Bangladesh has scored 10 runs without losing any wicket in the first innings, the team is trailing by 264 runs. Shadnam Islam (6) and Zakir (0) are unbeaten at the crease.

Batting in the first innings against Bangladesh, Pakistan lost a wicket in the very first over. Abdullah Shafiq returned to the pavilion on a duck against Taskin Ahmed after playing 6 balls. After which captain Shan Masood and Saim Ayub took charge. In the first session, Pakistan scored 99 runs at the loss of one wicket.

Mehdi Hasan then tightened the screws on Saim Ayub in the 34th over. Saim Ayub was able to play an innings of 58 runs with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes while facing 110 balls.

Bangladeshi bowler Mehdi Hasan Miraz completed a five-wicket haul by dismissing Khurram Shahzad (12), Mohammad Ali (2) and Abrar Ahmed (9). In the first innings, Mehdi Hasan took five wickets for 61 runs in 22.1 overs. Taskin Ahmed took 3 wickets, while Nahid Rana and Shakib Al Hasan took 1 wicket each.
