Liton Das brought Bangladesh back
Talking about the match, the first day of the second test was cancelled without a toss due to rain. After this, on the second day, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first and Pakistan, while batting, was all out after scoring 274 runs in the first innings. Sam Ayub scored the highest 58 runs, while captain Shan Masood scored 57 runs.
In reply to Pakistan’s innings, Bangladesh scored 262 runs in their first innings, which included 138 runs by Litton Das and 78 runs by Mehdi Hasan Miraz. Bangladesh’s team had lost 6 wickets within 30 runs at one point, but the Pakistani bowlers could not take any wicket after that. From there, Litton Das made a strong comeback for Bangladesh by scoring a century. The Pakistani team got a lead of only 12 runs in the first innings.
Pakistani batsmen failed in the second innings as well
In the second innings too, the Pakistani batsmen could not do much and the entire team was all out for 172. During this, Salman Agha scored an unbeaten 47 runs and Mohammad Rizwan also contributed 43 runs. Including the lead of the first innings, Pakistan set a target of 185 for victory against Bangladesh, which Bangladesh easily achieved with six wickets in hand.
