T20 World Cup 2024: PAK vs CAN, Match-22: The 22nd match of the T20 World Cup 2024 is being played today (11 June) between Pakistan and Canada at the Nassau Cricket Stadium in New York from 8 pm (Indian time). Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be right. Batting first, Canada could score only 106 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Aaron Johnson played the highest innings of 52 runs for the team.
PAK vs CAN: Canada lost two wickets in the powerplay
While batting against Pakistan, Canada suffered the first setback in the third over. Mohammad Aamir gave the team its first success by dismissing Navneet Dhaliwal (4). Then on the first ball of the sixth over, Pargat Singh (2) lost his wicket against Shaheen Afridi. Shaheen changed the end and bowled a shot of length. The ball hit the gloves of batsman Pargat Singh and went straight to the hands of Fakhar Zaman stationed at slip. Canada scored 30 runs at the loss of two wickets in the powerplay.
Haris Rauf tightened the screws on the middle order

Canada’s opener Aaron Johnson batted brilliantly today. Wickets kept falling from one end, but he faced the Pakistani bowlers well. Johnson faced 44 balls and scored 52 runs with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. He was out in the 14th over of the innings against Naseem Shah.
Canada’s captain Saad Bin Jaffer scored 21 runs in 10 balls with the help of one four. Kaleem Sana scored 13* and Dylan Heyliger scored an unbeaten 9*. For Pakistan, Mohammad Aamir took two wickets for 13 runs in 4 overs. Haris Rauf also took two wickets and Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah took 1 wicket each.
