In the first innings of the first Test against England, Mohammad Rizwan disappointed the team. He was out for a duck against Jack Leach after playing 12 balls. Saud Shakeel played brilliantly and scored 82 runs in 177 balls with the help of 8 fours.

Salman Ali Aga played an unbeaten inning of 104 runs in 119 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes. At the same time, Shaheen Afridi made an important contribution by scoring 26 runs in 49 balls. PAK vs ENG: Jack Leach took 3 wickets in the first innings
None of the England bowlers could show anything special in the first innings. Jack Leach took the maximum of three wickets for 160 runs in 40 overs. He took the wickets of Shan Masood, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi. Apart from these, Gus Atkinson and Braydon Kars took 2-2 wickets each.

Jack Crawley completed his half-century in 55 balls.
After losing the first wicket on the score of just 4 runs, the pair of Jack Crawley and Joe Root have given the team a comeback. Jack Crawley played brilliantly and completed his half-century in 55 balls by hitting a four against Naseem Shah on the second ball of the 18th over. This is his 16th half-century in Test cricket. By the end of the second day, there was a partnership of 92 runs between Joe Root and Crawley.
