Joe Root created history when he scored 71st run in the first innings of the first Test against Pakistan. He became England’s leading run-scorer in Tests, surpassing former player Alastair Cook. Also, Root has come fifth in the list of players who have scored most runs in Test cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis, Rahul Dravid are ahead of him.

Harry Brook played brilliantly against Pakistan and scored a century in 118 balls. This is the sixth century of his Test career and fourth century in the last 6 Test innings against Pakistan.
