PAK vs IRE, Shaheen Afridi: The 36th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 is being played between Pakistan and Ireland today (16) in Florida. Pakistan is already out of the tournament, but the team would like to win the hearts of the fans with its performance in the last match.

In the match, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first, which seems to be proving right. Ireland has lost four wickets on a score of 15. Shaheen Afridi gave a big shock to the team by dismissing two batsmen in the very first over.

Shaheen Afridi took the wickets of Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker in the first over

The first over of Ireland’s innings was bowled by Shaheen Afridi. Andrew Balbirnie could not score any runs in the first two balls of the over. Then Shaheen bowled him on the third ball. Andrew Balbirnie returned to the pavilion on a duck after playing 3 balls. After Balbirnie’s wicket, Lorcan Tucker came to the crease.

Lorcan Tucker was able to take 2 runs after facing the fourth ball of the over. But he lost his wicket on the very next ball. Tucker tried to drive, but got an outside edge and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan took the catch. And Ireland lost 2 wickets on the score of just 2 runs in the first over.

Mohammad Aamir then sent Ireland captain Paul Stirling (1) to the pavilion in the second over. Then while bowling the second over of the spell, Shaheen Afridi gave the fourth blow to Ireland. Shaheen dismissed Harry Tractor LBW on the last ball of the third over. Harry Tractor returned to the pavilion on a duck after playing 6 balls.
