PAK vs BAN: Pakistan is set to host Bangladesh for the PAK vs BAN two-Test series starting on August 21. The PAK vs BAN Test series is part of the ICC World Test Championship, in which Shan Masood’s (Pakistani Test captain) side is aiming to make it to the final. This will be the seventh Test series between the two teams, with Pakistan winning all the previous six encounters.
The two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will begin with the first Test of PAK vs BAN in Rawalpindi from Wednesday (August 21). The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to start in Karachi from Friday (August 30).
Pakistan will play against Bangladesh with this strategy
Given the possibility of rain and cloudy weather, Pakistan’s team management may opt for a fast bowling lineup for their first Test match against Bangladesh. The match will be played in Rawalpindi from August 21 to 25. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain of varying intensity on all five days of the match.
As per the report, Pakistan are expected to include pacers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mir Hamza and Khurram Shahzad in their playing XI while Salman Ali Agha will work his way into the squad as the sole spinner.
According to a report “Due to the weather, it is difficult for the only specialist spinner Abrar Ahmed to get a chance to play.”
Now it remains to be seen what preparations Bangladesh makes in view of this strategy.
