Meanwhile, today on Saturday (24 August), Shaheen has received the biggest good news of his life. The fast bowler’s wife Ansha gave birth to a son, whom she named Aliyar Shaheen Afridi. On social media, fans are seen congratulating the couple for becoming parents for the first time.
Shaheen Afridi married Ansha, daughter of former legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi, on 3 February 2023 last year. Let us tell you, in July, news of both of them becoming parents came out. Pakistani journalist Ahtasham Riaz shared the picture of Shaheen Afridi’s child on social media and wrote,

The board may rest Shaheen Afridi in the second test
Shaheen Afridi will go to Karachi to meet his wife, child and family after the first Test match against Bangladesh. According to a report in Geo News, the fast bowler will be available for the second match, which will be played in Rawalpindi from August 30.
The report also states that Shaheen may miss the second game as well. He may ask the Pakistan Cricket Board for rest to be with his wife and family. Although no official statement has come out yet, it is quite likely that he will be given rest.
Pakistan’s Test coach Jason Gillespie said, Shaheen may miss the Bangladesh Test due to the birth of a child. If he wants to be with his wife till then, we can give him rest.
