The Pakistan Cricket Board said through a press release, ‘PCB had received requests for No Objection Certificates from Babar, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi for the upcoming Global T20 tournament. After the meeting, the board decided that these three players will not be given NOC.

The period of Pakistan cricket calendar is very busy from August 2024 to March 2025, which includes 9 matches of ICC World Test Championship and next year ICC Champions Trophy 2025. All these three players will be needed in the upcoming matches. In this entire period, Pakistan has to play 9 Tests, 14 ODIs and 9 T20 matches.
