The Champions Trophy 2025 might be hosted in the February and March window and that is why the Pakistan Cricket Board will have to shift the PSL by 1 month.

A big news is coming from the Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League. The Pakistani board has indicated in a meeting that the next season of PSL can be played between April 10 and May 25. The Indian Premier League 2025 season will also be played at the same time.

Actually, the Champions Trophy 2025 can be hosted in the February and March window and this is the reason why the Pakistan Cricket Board will have to shift the PSL by 1 month. At the same time, the Indian Premier League 2025 season will be played in India. The Pakistan Cricket Board also has no other option but to shift the PSL by 1 month. This is because after this the Pakistan team has to play many important matches in international cricket.

This includes a two-match Test series against the West Indies at home and then the team can be seen playing an ODI series against New Zealand. If the PCB organizes the Pakistan Super League in the month of April, then it will have to take important decisions regarding the availability of their top foreign players as well as sponsorship deals and viewership.

A meeting of officials was held in May regarding all these important issues but the final decision is yet to be taken. Not only this, the Pakistani board is also planning to change the retention rule. According to the new guidelines, all the teams will also have the opportunity to select domestic players from the three newly introduced elite tournaments also known as Champions Tournament.

‘Jasprit Bumrah is a joke’ – shocking statement of former English bowler after Perth Test

Bumrah took 8 wickets in both the innings of that Test match and for this he was chosen Player of the Match. In the match, India achieved a spectacular victory within four days and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. After seeing the brilliant bowling in that match, former England cricket team fast bowler Steven Finn has praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the first Test match against Australia. Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev. They are followed by BS Chandrashekhar and Zaheer Khan (six each), and Bishan Singh Bedi and Anil Kumble (five each).
