Indian tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi has appealed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to sell IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Let us tell you that the performance of RCB in the ongoing season of IPL has not been anything special.

The team is currently running at the last position in the points table. The team has played a total of seven matches in IPL 2024, out of which it has lost 6 matches. Besides, the net run rate of the team is also -1.185. Also, let us tell you that the ownership rights of RCB team are with United Spirits Limited.

However, before this, Vijay Mallya was the owner of the team from 2008 to 2016. However, now after seeing the team’s performance in the ongoing IPL season, the tennis star who has won 12 Grand Slams has requested to sell the ownership of the team.

SRH, batting first, scored 287 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs, which is the highest score in an innings in IPL history.

So when RCB came out to chase this target given by SRH, they also scored a total of 262 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs, but they had to face defeat in the match by 25 runs.
