Indian Premier League (IPL) Amidst the ongoing season of 2024, a big news is coming out related to former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni. According to reports, Dhoni’s former business partner Mihir Diwakar has been arrested on fraud charges. He has been accused of defrauding people in the name of opening a cricket academy in Jaipur.

According to a report by Times of India, Mihir Diwakar had set up a company named RK Sports, where he reportedly raised funds to open an academy. But neither did the academy open nor did they return the money. He assured the people that an agreement has been reached between him and Dhoni to provide franchises to MS Dhoni Sports Academy and others.

Diwakar was caught from Noida

This happened when Dhoni did not allow him to use his name to open an academy in Jaipur. Now Diwakar was caught from Noida (UP) on Wednesday and will be brought to Jaipur for formal arrest in the case.

In this case, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that, in 2023, a case of fraud was registered against the accused at Karni Vihar police station. After taking the money, the accused neither opened the academy nor returned the money. He also said that MS Dhoni himself had filed a criminal complaint against Diwakar in Jaipur last year.

Talking about MS Dhoni, currently he is busy playing the 17th edition of IPL. It is believed that this will be his last IPL season. Therefore, fans are also reaching the field in large numbers in every match of CSK to cheer Dhoni and the team. Let us tell you that under the leadership of Dhoni, CSK has won the title five times.
