On the other hand, now Islamabad United team captain Shadab Khan has expressed disappointment on this issue and said that obviously one feels sad after such incidents. It is noteworthy that after the average performance of Pakistan cricket team in Cricket World Cup 2023, Imad Wasim was seen strongly criticizing the captaincy of Babar Azam.

Shadab Khan expressed disappointment

Let us tell you that when slogans of ‘Babar-Babar’ were raised against Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan said – Obviously it feels sad. Playing, performing for the Pakistan team for such a long time. Our crowd is doing such things. You feel that I have played for this country and won matches for this country, and our people are treating us like this. Feels it a little, doesn’t it?

On the other hand, if we tell you the condition of this match, Islamabad United under the captaincy of Shadab Khan had made it to the final match by defeating Peshawar Zalmi led by Babar Azam. After losing the toss and batting first, Peshawar scored 185 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. For the team, opener Sam Ayub scored 73 runs and Mohammad Harris scored 40 runs.

So when Islamabad set out to chase the target of 186 runs given by Peshawar, it easily achieved this target by losing 5 wickets in 19 overs. However, at one time it seemed that Peshawar would take control of the match, but in the end, Imad Wasim (59*) and Haider Ali (52*) played half-centuries for United and won the match for their team.
