R Ashwin (R Ashwin) The India vs England Test series was both memorable and scary. The veteran off-spinner played his 100th Test during the India vs England Test series and also completed 500 wickets in this format of the game.

However, R Ashwin’s mother Chitra fell ill during this series, due to which he had to leave the Rajkot Test midway. But the senior spinner returned the next day and played a key role in his team’s series win. Meanwhile, in the fifth and last Test played in Dharamshala, R Ashwin took 9 wickets, and helped Team India win the Test series 4-1 by winning the match by an innings and 64 runs.

Let us tell you, after taking 4 wickets in the first innings of Dharamsala Test, Ashwin proved to be even more dangerous in the second innings. After which he did not allow the England batsmen to settle down in the second innings and ensured India’s victory by taking five wickets at regular intervals.

Meanwhile, R Ashwin made his Test cricket debut in the year 2011 and recorded figures of 9/128 in his first match against West Indies. The Indian off-spinner took 9 wickets in his debut match against West Indies in Delhi in 2011. Ashwin recorded similar figures of 9/128 in the Dharamshala Test, leading to a post by a fan on social media platform X, on which Ashwin trolled himself.

Sharing that fan’s post, Ashwin wrote on X: ‘Even after playing the game for so many years, there has been no improvement. “Only my mother can say such things” ??????❤️.’
