About 1 month ago, Dharmveer Singh Shekhawat, one of the AD HOC members, met Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah during an informal meeting and requested him to release funds to organise camps and tournaments to prepare for the upcoming season.

According to the Times of India, Jaideep Bihani, Co-ordinator of the Rajasthan Cricket Association Committee, said, “We are giving the number of match officials and players to the BCCI and they will transfer their salaries directly. This payment will be included in our approved fund.”

He told us to start it immediately: Jaideep Bihani

Jaideep Bihani also informed that the committee will conduct the RCA elections by the end of August, he had shared this in his last salary meeting as well. Representatives of Vedanta’s Hindustan Zinc Limited had asked him to resume the construction work of the new RCA Jaipur stadium as soon as possible.

Bihani said, ‘His concern is about the construction work and he has asked us to start it quickly. His CSR fund will lapse so he does not want to use that money. But currently our priority is to ensure that the RCA elections are held first and then the rest of the work is completed.’

It is yet to be reported how the RCA plans to implement the funds given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India as well as organise various tournaments in the upcoming season of 2024-25.
