Aaron Finch angry even after RCB’s Rajat Patidar scored a half-century

Former cricketer Aaron Finch has expressed his displeasure over the way RCB batsman Rajat Patidar lost his wicket during the match against KKR. He believes that the shot selection made by Rajat Patidar was very bad. According to Aaron Finch, after Will Jacques, Rajat Patidar was the only set batsman present at the crease. In such a situation, if instead of hitting quick shots, he had played slowly and given the other batsman a chance to get set, then perhaps he would not have got out in such a bad manner and the team could have won the match.

Talking about Rajat Patidar’s innings, he batted brilliantly in the match against KKR and scored a half-century. He played an important inning of 52 runs in 23 balls with the help of 3 fours and 5 sixes. In the same over in which Will Jacques was out, Rajat Patidar also hurried to play a big shot and lost his wicket. As soon as the wickets of these two batsmen fell, KKR tightened their grip on the match and the team had to face defeat.

Rajat Patidar made poor shot selection: Aaron Finch

Aaron Finch has criticized Rajat Patidar’s shot selection. They said-

“Rajat Patidar should have batted 2-3 more overs for RCB. Yes, we have definitely seen big scores and batsmen hitting explosive shots as soon as they arrive, but there is a strategy behind it. You can’t throw wickets like this. Rajat Patidar should have stayed for at least 4 or 5 balls. In the next over, he should have hit his shots after re-evaluating them. You cannot afford to have two batsmen out in the same over.”
