Former Pakistan captain Rameez Raja has praised India’s experienced all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin. According to Rameez Raja, Ravichandran Ashwin has achieved many great achievements in his cricketing career but he has not celebrated it much.

Let us tell you that recently Ravichandran Ashwin had given a valuable all-round performance in the two-match Test series played against Bangladesh. Not only this, Ravichandran Ashwin won the Player of the Series award for the 11th time in the Test format during this series. With this, along with Sri Lankan veteran spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, he has achieved the brilliant feat of winning the Player of the Series award the maximum number of times.

According to Times of India, Rameez Raja said on his official YouTube channel, ‘Ravichandran Ashwin did not celebrate as much as he should have as an all-rounder. If you look at his record, he is no match for anyone. He is a no nonsense player. Everyone praises him a lot. The biggest thing with Ashwin is that he is never seen angry when he is out of the team or remains as the 12th man. He understands the situation of the team and also his responsibility.

Whenever Ashwin gets a chance to play, his performance is always tremendous and we should learn a lot from him. The experienced player has a lot of knowledge of cricket.

Former Pakistani player gave example of Ravichandran Ashwin

Rameez Raja further said, ‘We have seen Ashwin and Jadeja how they have improved their game. In Pakistan, players perform and then their form declines. We have many such examples but the success story of Team India players is very different. He knows very well that there are many players who can challenge him even to sit on the bench.

Ravichandran Ashwin played an important role in the Test series played against Bangladesh not only with bowling but also with batting. He also scored a valuable century for his team in the first innings of this test match.

It is noteworthy that the first match of the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) will be played at the Optus Stadium in Perth from Friday, November 22. However, in this series, the Indian cricket team is going to face Australia after suffering defeat in the three-match home Test series against New Zealand. Before this series, India also had to face defeat in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. So, after such performance, if some media reports are to be believed, BCCI has started discussing with senior players about their future. Apart from this, this series will be the litmus test for head coach Gautam Gambhir, because till now Team India has not been able to perform as expected under the coaching of Gambhir. If Team India’s performance is not good in this series, then the management can also think about Gambhir’s future. Well, due to the absence of some players from Team India in this match, young players may get a chance to debut. It is noteworthy that due to the birth of his second child, captain Rohit Sharma will not be able to play in this match. Whereas Shubman Gill, who got injured while fielding in the practice session, is out of this match. If sources are to be believed, due to his bowling ability, the management can include Nitish Kumar Reddy in the playing eleven, while due to the help of fast bowlers provided by the pitch, 22 year old young Harshit Rana may also get a chance to play. India’s probable XI against Australia for the first BGT Test Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wk), Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harshit Rana, Jasprit Bumrah (c), Mohammed Siraj.
