Karnataka players would definitely like to leave their mark in the upcoming season.
Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has announced its squad for the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season. The captaincy of this 16-member team has once again been handed over to Mayank Agarwal. Karnataka’s performance in domestic cricket has been quite good for some time now but the team has failed to win the trophy. However, Karnataka players would definitely like to leave their mark in the upcoming season.
Apart from Mayank Agarwal, brilliant players Manish Pandey, Shreyas Gopal, Prasidh Krishna and Devdutt Padikkal will also be seen performing well in the team, while Lavneet Sisodia and Sujay Sateri have been included in the team as wicketkeeper batsmen. The fast bowling lineup of the team is also strong. However, Karnataka State Cricket Association has not included Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid in the team.

Karnataka team has to play its first match of the upcoming tournament against Madhya Pradesh, which is starting from October 11 at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. Their first match at home is against Kerala. The best thing for Karnataka is that all their players are in great form at the moment.
The team will play the match against Karnataka from October 18, while against Bihar they have to play the match from October 26 at Moin Ul Haq Stadium in Patna. The team will play the match against Bengal at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from November 6, while against Uttar Pradesh they have to play an important match of Ranji Trophy from November 13 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
