Mahipal Lomror, who was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in the IPL and represented Rajasthan in domestic cricket, has grabbed media headlines by scoring a triple century in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season.

It is noteworthy that Uttarakhand is facing Rajasthan in the Elite Group B of Ranji Trophy at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy Ground in Dehradun. So in this match, Mahipal, who came to bat at number three in the first innings of Rajasthan, batted brilliantly and played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 300 runs in 360 balls.

Also, during this brilliant innings, the player hit 25 fours and 13 brilliant sixes. Apart from this, this is Mahipal’s highest individual score in first class cricket. Earlier, he had scored 133 runs in a match. Before this triple century, Lomror had 16 half-centuries and 7 centuries in his name in first class cricket.

Uttarakhand trailed by 551 runs at the end of the day

On the other hand, if we give you information about the match, at the end of the second day, Uttarakhand has scored 109 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in the first innings after 20.3 overs. At present, captain Ravikumar Samarth is out at the crease after scoring 50* runs and Swapnil Singh has scored 17* runs, while Avnish Sudha is out after scoring 5 runs and Priyanshu Khanduri is out after scoring 27 runs.

Earlier, Rajasthan had declared the first innings at 660 runs at the loss of 7 wickets after 145.4 overs on the basis of Mahipal’s marathon innings (300*). Apart from Lomror, Karthik Sharma also played a brilliant inning of 113 runs in the match.

A partnership of 177 runs was also seen between the two for the fifth wicket, due to which Rajasthan was successful in making this huge score in the first innings. It will be worth watching how Uttarakhand is going to perform in the first innings?

Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad handed the ball to Deshpande several times in the last overs and he remained true to his captain’s decision. In the last season of IPL, Tushar took 17 wickets in 13 matches played for five-time champion CSK, while Tushar played an important role in making Chennai the champion in the year 2023. This season, Tushar had taken 23 wickets in 16 matches played.
