Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Vidarbha announced the team for the upcoming tournament, Akshay Wadkar will take command

Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming season of Ranji Trophy. Let us tell you that the much awaited season of the tournament is starting from October 11. So this season, the command of the team has been handed over to wicketkeeper batsman Akshay Wadkar, while left handed opening batsman Atharva Tayde has been made his deputy.

Apart from this, experienced Karun Nair, who scored a triple century in Test cricket for India, has also been included in the team. It is noteworthy that he has started playing for Vidarbha since last season, and he was the highest run-scorer for the team in the last season.

Also, Faiz Fazal, who announced his retirement from domestic cricket last season, is now going to be replaced by young Yash Rathore in the team.
