The final match of the ongoing season of Ranji Trophy between Mumbai and Vidarbha has started today, Sunday, March 10, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Let us tell you that in the match, Vidarbha won the toss and decided to bowl.

So while batting first in the match, Mumbai had a good start. But after this, Koppells was seen in batting. Mumbai’s strong batting got Vidarbha all out for 224 runs in 64.3 overs.

For Mumbai, openers Prithvi Shaw and Bhupen Lalwani made a partnership of 81 runs for the first wicket. But after Bhupen was out for 37, Mumbai lost wickets at frequent intervals. Inform Musheer Khan was out after scoring 6 runs, captain Ajinkya Rahane 7, Shresus Iyer 7 and wicketkeeper Hardik Taimor was out after scoring 5 runs.

However, in the end all-rounder Shardul Thakur played a brilliant inning of 75 runs in 69 balls, due to which Mumbai was successful in crossing the 200 mark. Shardul hit 8 fours and 3 brilliant sixes during his innings. Apart from this, Tushar Deshpande contributed 14 runs.

So if we talk about Vidarbha’s bowling, Harsh Dubey and Yash Thakur got three wickets each. Apart from this, experienced Umesh Yadav got 2 wickets and Aditya Thackeray got 1 wicket.

Vidarbha still behind by 193 runs

After this, by the end of the first day of the final match, Vidarbha had scored 31 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in its first innings after 13 overs. Vidarbha’s start in the match has not been anything special. Two players of the team, Dhruv Shorey and Karun Nair have returned to the pavilion after getting out without opening the account.

Whereas Aman Mokhade could not extend his innings beyond 8 runs. Mokhade was caught behind by Dhawal Kulkarni behind the wicket. So far, Kulkarni has taken 2 wickets and Shardul Thakur has taken 1 wicket in bowling for Mumbai.
