At present the race for the playoffs is very tough. Either way, this match is going to be important for the teams. Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans are out of the playoffs as the Gujarat vs KKR match in Ahmedabad was canceled due to rain. After Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, Gujarat will also not be in the race for the playoffs. In such a situation, except KKR team, the remaining 6 teams will compete for 3 seats. In which CSK and RCB are also strong contenders. But the shadow of rain is looming over this match also.

Will it rain on RCB vs CSK match day?

RCB vs CSK match is likely to be interrupted due to rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a 72 percent chance of rain in Chinnaswamy on May 18. In such a situation, if the match is canceled due to rain, then both the teams will get one point each, in this way RCB will get 13 points and CSK will get 15 points. Currently, Delhi has 14 points, while RCB team can be out of the playoffs due to less points and the last match.

Currently, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s net run rate is +0.387, while CSK’s net run rate is +0.528. If Royal Challengers win the match by a small margin then it will not be beneficial for them also.
