‘Really well looked after’ New Zealand batsman’s big reaction to playing cricket in Pakistan

Five-match T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand starting from 18 April 2024

To strengthen the preparations for the T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan Cricket (PCB) Board had recently announced the schedule of a five-match home T20 series against New Zealand. Let us tell you that this series is going to start from 18th April.

However, New Zealand Cricket had refused to come to Pakistan in the year 2021 citing security reasons. However, after this the team made two successful tours of Pakistan in the year 2023. So now the New Zealand cricket team has reached Pakistan for another tour in the year 2024.

On the other hand, a big statement has come out from the team’s veteran batsman Henry Nicholls regarding the Kiwi team playing cricket in Pakistan. Nicholls says the team has been really well looked after in Pakistan.

Let us tell you that in an interview given to Times of India before the start of the T20 series against Pakistan cricket team, Henry Nicholls said – Coming here, it feels as if we have been here for the last few years.

Nicholls further said- From the players’ point of view we feel really safe. When we went to Pakistan we were really well looked after. Whenever I went there to play cricket, I felt safe and the level of security was excellent.

Second T20 match – 20 April, Saturday Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi
