Experienced wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul recently performed well in the Test series against South Africa. In the unavailability of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul batted very well at number 6 and his wicketkeeping was also excellent.

However, the team management does not want to put too much workload on KL Rahul in the Test series against England. A BCCI source told Times of India that the team management is backing KL Rahul only as a batsman.

However, KL Rahul can play an important role along with batting as well as wicketkeeping. Today we will tell you about three main reasons why the team management should not remove KL Rahul from the post of wicketkeeper in the upcoming England Test series.

1- KL Rahul has a lot of experience in batting as well as wicketkeeping.

Apart from KL Rahul, the Indian team has included young players Dhruv Jurel and KS Bharat for the first and second Test. In 5 test matches, KS Bharat has scored only 129 runs at an average above 18. Not only this, his wicketkeeping has also not been so good.

Talking about Dhruv Jurel, he does not have much experience of wicketkeeping in international cricket. In the unavailability of Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul can do wicketkeeping for the Indian team very well.
