Mohammed Shami revealed in a podcast that both Rohit and Virat do not face him in net sessions. He said-
“Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli don’t like playing my bowling in the nets. I have heard it in many interviews, but they don’t like facing me in the net sessions. Rohit Sharma says in advance that I am not facing you and Virat gets angry if he gets out twice.”
‘I have a unique friendship with Virat’- Shami
Mohammed Shami also talked about his competitive spirit with Kohli. He said that Kohli always wants to hit boundaries on Shami and I want to get him out.
“Virat and I always challenge each other. He loves to play silky shots, while I always aim to get him out during the nets. The bonding and friendship is clearly visible. It takes hard work and focus to get your friends out in the nets.”
