After the explosive season of IPL 2024, all the attention of the fans is now on the T20 World Cup to be played in West Indies and America. Team India will play its first match against Ireland on June 5 in New York. India’s 15-member team for the tournament has been announced long ago. Rohit Sharma will lead India, while Hardik Pandya has been given the vice-captaincy.

Players like Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed have not been able to make it to the main squad. They will travel with the team as reserve players. Rinku Singh has shown his excellent form in the T20 format for India, but still he could not make it to the World Cup team. Rinku was definitely disappointed at not being selected, but captain Rohit Sharma’s words have motivated him to work harder.

After the announcement of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024, Rinku Singh had a conversation with Rohit Sharma. Rinku Singh says that after lifting the IPL trophy with Kolkata Knight Riders, he is very confident about lifting the T20 World Cup trophy with the Indian team. Speaking further, Rinku said, ‘I also have a dream that we win the World Cup, winning is a big deal. Where I come from, even being in the reserve is a big deal for me. Now my only dream is that Team India wins the trophy and I lift that trophy.
