The senior selection committee also asked Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav if they want to travel to Zimbabwe, but both have refused.

According to the Indian Express report, the senior selection committee has selected a 20-member team for the upcoming series, but they are waiting for a response from Hardik and Suryakumar. Shubman Gill, who went to the USA with the Indian team as a reserve player, has returned to India with fast bowler Avesh Khan, as the team management wanted to rest him.
