Bangladesh team also failed to bat well in the second innings and were all out for 146 runs. For the team, Shadman Islam scored 50 runs while Mushfiqur Rahim contributed 37 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each in the second innings for the hosts.

Team India needed 95 runs to win this match, which they achieved by losing three wickets. On behalf of the team, Virat Kohli scored 29 runs while Yashasvi Jaiswal played a stormy inning of 51* runs and led his team to victory.
