Sakshi Dhoni, wife of former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is making a lot of headlines with a post on Instagram. He has posted this story today on 2nd April because India won the ODI World Cup on this day i.e. 2nd April in the year 2011. This was the second World Cup won by Team India under the captaincy of Dhoni.
Today, 13 years have passed since winning the ODI World Cup trophy and since Dhoni, no captain has been able to win a trophy for Team India. While sharing a story on her Instagram, Sakshi Dhoni has thanked her fans for always supporting her.

Dhoni played an important inning in the final match of ODI World Cup 2011.
In the final match of India vs Sri Lanka World Cup 2011, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Sri Lankan team scored 274 runs losing 6 wickets thanks to Mahela Jayawardene’s century. While chasing the target of 275 runs, Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar were returned to the pavilion cheaply from India.
But due to the brilliant innings of Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni, India won by six wickets with 10 balls remaining. India captain MS Dhoni was awarded man of the match for his unbeaten, match-winning innings of 91 runs off 79 balls.
