Dale Steyn is not happy with Hardik Pandya’s statement after the defeat of Mumbai Indians.
Rajasthan Royals have defeated Mumbai Indians by 9 wickets in the match played on 22 April. This is the 5th defeat in 8 matches of the Mumbai team captained by Hardik Pandya. The team has 6 points and is currently at 7th position in the points table. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are at the top position with 14 points. Despite the defeat by 9 wickets, Pandya did not give a concrete statement after the match on the team’s mistakes, problems and his form. Now South African veteran cricketer Dale Steyn has cornered Pandya on social media and has spoken some sharp words. Dale Steyn believes that players smile after losing a match, talk about improving in the next match but then lose.
It is noteworthy that, Hardik has been one of the most talked about cricketers in IPL since the start of the tournament. The poor form of all-rounder and captain Pandya has been one of the reasons for the poor performance of Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Hardik Pandya gave statement after losing the match
After the match, Pandya said, “We got ourselves into trouble early on. The way Tilak and Nehal batted is commendable. I don’t think we lost two wickets early. Even after losing the wicket, we felt that we would reach 180. We just couldn’t finish well so we fell behind by 10-15 runs. We gave away a lot of runs in the powerplay itself, should have kept the ball on the stumps continuously. At the same time, we did not have a good day in fielding also.”
Speaking further, Pandaya said, “Not everyone knows their role. They should think about these mistakes and improve themselves and take care that it does not happen again. I don’t like changing teams constantly. I have to be with the players.”

Dale Steyn is not happy with this statement of Hardik Pandya. He tweeted that players do not express their feelings after losing a match and try to cover up their mistakes. Stan said-
