Today i.e. on 4th April, in an excellent match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by three wickets. In this match, all the players of Punjab Kings performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Captain Shubhman Gill batted very well for Gujarat Titans but he failed to lead his team to victory.

In this spectacular match, Gujarat Titans, batting first, scored 199 runs losing four wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, captain Shubhman Gill batted very well and played a valuable unbeaten inning of 89 runs in 48 balls with the help of 6 fours and four sixes. Shubman Gill did not spare any bowler of Punjab Kings and hit hard against all of them.

Apart from Shubman Gill, Kane Williamson contributed 26 runs while Sai Sudarshan played an aggressive inning of 33 runs with the help of 6 fours in 19 balls. Rahul Tewatia played a stormy inning of 23* runs in 8 balls with the help of 3 fours and 1 six. For Punjab Kings, experienced fast bowler Kagiso Rabada took two wickets for 44 runs in four overs while Harpreet Brar and Harshal Patel took one wicket each.

Punjab Kings beat Gujarat Titans by three wickets

Punjab Kings, who came to chase the target, did not have such a good start and captain Shikhar Dhawan was out for just one run. His wicket was taken by Umesh Yadav. Although after this Prabhsimran Singh and Jonny Bairstow batted very well but Punjab Kings kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

On behalf of Punjab Kings, young player Shashank Singh batted brilliantly and played an unbeaten match-winning inning of 61 runs with the help of 6 fours and four sixes in 29 balls. Apart from Shashank Singh, Ashutosh Sharma played an explosive inning of 31 runs. Jitesh Sharma contributed 16 runs while Sikandar Raza scored 15 runs. Prabhsimran Singh contributed 35 runs. For Gujarat Titans, Noor Ahmed took two wickets for 32 runs in four overs.
