He played five matches in this tournament and then could not participate in the remaining matches due to injury. Shikhar Dhawan scored 152 runs in five innings of IPL 2024 at an average of 30.4.

He said, ‘I am currently going towards a change where my cricket will come to rest and a new chapter of life will begin. You can play only till a certain age. It can be 1 year, 2 years or even more than that.’
