Today, on 10th July, the third T20 match was played between Zimbabwe and India at Harare Sports Club. The Indian team won this match by 23 runs. With this victory, India has taken a 2-1 lead in the 5 match T20 series. In the third T20 match, all the players from the Indian team performed very well and played an important role in their team’s victory.
Let us tell you, batting first against the hosts, India scored 182 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. The Indian team had a very good start and there was an important partnership of 67 runs for the first wicket between Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Shubman Gill. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a stormy innings of 36 runs. Abhishek Sharma, who scored a century in the second T20, failed to score big in the third match and was out after scoring 10 runs.
After two wickets fell in quick succession, captain Shubman Gill and Rituraj Gaikwad batted very well and shared a crucial 62-run partnership for the third wicket. While on one hand, captain Shubman Gill played a match-winning innings of 66 runs in 49 balls with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes, Rituraj Gaikwad made a valuable contribution of 49 runs in 28 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes.

The host team kept losing wickets at regular intervals while chasing the target and due to this they could not win the match. Dion Mayers batted very well for the team and played a brilliant innings of 65 runs in 49 balls with the help of 7 fours and a six. However, he failed to make his team win.
Apart from Dion Mayers, all other players performed very poorly. Clive Madande contributed 37 runs while Sikandar Raza was out after scoring 15 runs. Washington Sundar bowled brilliantly for India and took three important wickets for 15 runs in four overs. Apart from Washington Sundar, Avesh Khan took two wickets.
