Till the third day of the only Test match against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan has scored 199 runs at the loss of one wicket in the second innings.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan has suffered a major blow. Afghan fast bowler Mohammad Salim suffered a grade-2 hamstring injury the other day. Due to which he is out of the match. Afghanistan Cricket Board shared a post on social media and wrote, ‘Fast bowler Mohammad Salim suffered a grade-2 strain in his left hamstring on the second day of the one-off Test match. Due to which he is out of the ongoing test match. And he is out for at least the next four weeks. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Afghanistan team is looking brilliant in the second innings
Talking about the ongoing only Test match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, the Afghanistan team was all out for 198 runs in the first innings. Rahmat Shah played the highest innings of 91 runs for the team. Vishwa Fernando took maximum 4 wickets in the first innings for Sri Lanka. Whereas Asitha Fernando and Prabhat Jayasuriya took 3-3 wickets.
The Sri Lankan team scored 439 runs in the first innings. Dimuth Karunaratne played an inning of 77 runs and Dinesh Chandimal played an inning of 107 runs. Whereas Angelo Mathews played the highest innings of 141 runs in 259 balls with the help of 14 fours and 3 sixes. Navid Zadran took maximum 4 wickets for Afghanistan. Whereas Nijat Masood and Qais Ahmed took 2-2 wickets.
Afghanistan is seen batting brilliantly in the second innings. By the end of the third day, the team has scored 199 runs at the loss of one wicket. Ibrahim Zadran (101*) and Rahmat Shah (46*) are unbeaten on runs. Noor Ali (47 runs) became the victim of Asitha Fernando.
