India need 249 runs to win the match

The decision of Kusal Mendis’ catch also went to the third umpire. He wanted to see whether Gill had caught the ball correctly or not. Sri Lanka batted first and scored 248 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. Avishka Fernando scored 96 runs for the team while Kusal Mendis scored 59 runs. Pathum Nissanka contributed 45 runs. For India, Riyan Parag took three wickets for 54 runs in 9 overs. Apart from Riyan Parag, Mohammad Siraj, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar took 1-1 wickets. India will have to score 249 runs in 50 overs to win the third ODI.
