Let us tell you, Smriti Mandhana scored back to back centuries in two ODIs against South Africa. She played an important innings for her team in the first ODI as well. Not only this, Smriti Mandhana also took her first ODI wicket during the second match. She took the wicket of Sune Luus at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Smriti Mandhana came to bowl the 15th over of South Africa’s innings. Her bowling action was quite similar to that of Virat Kohli. On the second ball of this over, Sune Luus was trying to play a big shot but the ball hit her bat and went to wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh who completed the catch quite well.

Batting first against South Africa in the second ODI, the Indian women’s team scored 3 wickets in 50 overs
Scored 325 runs. Smriti Mandhana batted brilliantly for India and played an aggressive innings of 136 runs in 120 balls with the help of 18 fours and 2 sixes. She did not spare any bowler of South Africa and hit hard against everyone.

Apart from Smriti Mandhana, captain Harmanpreet Kaur also batted very well and played an explosive innings of 103* runs with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes in 88 balls. Richa Ghosh contributed 25* runs while Shefali Verma scored 20 runs. South Africa women’s team, which came out to chase the target, is in a very good position at the moment.
