Australian tour of West Indies starts from January 17
According to the latest media reports, Australia cricket team’s opening batsman David Warner will not be able to take part in the home white series against West Indies. Let us tell you that West Indies’ tour of Australia is starting from January 17, while from February 2, a three-match ODI and the same number of T20 series will be played between the two.
Let us tell you that the main reason behind this is being said to be International League T20 (ILT20). It is noteworthy that David Warner plays for Dubai Capitals in ILT and this time this tournament will be played between January 20 to February 18, 2024. So the white ball series between Australia and West Indies will be played from 2 to 13 February.
Warner can ask for NOC
Let us tell you that Australian Cricketers Association CEO Greenberg told SEN that Warner can soon apply for No Objection Certificate (NOC). For which they are going to get a yes answer from the organization.
So further Greenberg said – There is no doubt that Dave (David Warner) would like to do some business in the coming phase of his cricket career, where he can get the best return on his investment. I don’t think there is anything wrong in this and I am supporting them to do so.
In the coming times, we will see that he does not become a part of some bilateral series and foreign tours. Although some people may not like it, this is a modern world. In which we are living and everyone has to adopt it.
