Former Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan is celebrating his 42nd birthday today.
The first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played in Perth from November 22. Sourav Ganguly defends Gautam Gambhir’s sharp comment on panting, know what Dada said?

On the other hand, statements are being made continuously by former cricketers before the start of this much-awaited series. In this sequence, former Australian captain Ricky Ponting had expressed concern about former captain and Virat Kohli, who is out of form in Test cricket these days. On this statement of Ponting, the current head coach of the Indian team and former opener Gautam Gambhir had said that he should stop worrying about Kohli’s form and focus on the Australian team. Ganguly further said- Ever since I have watched cricket, Australians have been difficult for you. He has played his cricket like this, be it (Steve) Waugh, Ponting or (Matthew) Hayden. Therefore, there is nothing wrong in what Gambhir has said. That’s just the way he is, and he fights, he competes. So let’s give him a chance. He has been in coaching only for two-three months and you are passing judgment on him.
