Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) team is currently on Bangladesh tour for the all format series. Recently the three-match T20 series between the two teams ended, now the three-match ODI series between the two teams is starting from March 13.

So this time, to strengthen the fast bowling, the management has given place to Lahiru Kumara, who bowls at a speed of about 140 kilometers per hour. However, experienced all-rounder Angelo Mathews, who was part of the team for the T20 series, has not been included in the ODI team.

So, Kamindu Mendis has been included in the team as a replacement for Mathews. Apart from this, fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has not been selected for the ODI series due to injury. Also, batsman Shevan Denium has not been selected for the ODI series after getting less opportunities.

Apart from this, Pathum Nissanka, who was not a part of the T20 series due to hamstring injury, has now fully recovered from his injury, and has been selected in the team for the ODI series against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Dhananjay de Silva, who has done wonders in Test cricket for the Sri Lankan cricket team, has also not got a place in the team.
