Nothing is going well for Hardik Pandya right now in IPL 2024
Nothing is going good for Hardik Pandya at the moment in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Mumbai Indians have lost their first matches under his captaincy. At the same time, he has had to face bad behavior from fans. However, meanwhile, Hardik has been suggested by Australian batsman Steve Smith to stop the BOO.
Steve Smith believes that this behavior of the fans towards Hardik is ‘irrelevant’, because no one knows what the player is going through. He also said that the MI captain needs the support of his teammates, including former captain Rohit Sharma.
There is no one from outside in that changing room – Steve Smith
“I would try and just say stop it,” Smith said on ESPNcricinfo’s timeout show. This is all irrelevant. No one outside knows what you are going through. There is no one from outside in that changing room.
He further said that, personally it does not bother me. I do not care. But of course players hear these things and hear things and everyone has their own feelings and a right to have that reaction. So is it affecting them (heartily)? It is possible it’s possible.
Steve Smith talked about his experience of playing in IPL 2017 and said that, it was an enjoyable season and I think we had some success that year (2017), which also helped us. But MS was very good at whatever he did. He was supportive, he helped me in every possible way.
